There appears to be some type of valve in the top of the cap which I think may be the cause of the problem, maybe it blocks or something?

Just noticed that my '09 C30 has a similar problem as the OP. I see there are loads of Ford caps for sale so wondered if this is a common problem with these caps.
Anyone bought & fitted a £10 ford part instead of a £15 Volvo part? |
