Default V50 Front Wings pre-facelift vs facelift

Hi guys

Unfortuntely I got involved in a minor accident with an impatient driver who tried to overtake me at a junction. He ended up scrapping his entire passenger side against my o/s front wing.

I've got a 2005 pre-facelift and have found a facelift front wing on eBay in the exact same colour. Can anyone confirm if it is an exact fit or are there any differences?

Thanks

p.s Would also add that I've been to Lakes Autos on the A1 and had an interesting chat with Barry over all the old Volvos he's got over there. Plenty of v50 front wings, just unfortunately not in the same colour as mine which is Barents blue 466.

I would imagine it's not identical as the lights are a different shape..

I'm sure I've seen posts on here a few years back where someone, or a few people, have changed their front and rear end from a pre facelift to a post facelift and put the newer lights and bumpers on an older car.
From memory I think there was some cutting of the front panel but I don't think the front wings had to be changed for later ones.
Someone may be along that remembers the thread.

Found one of the threads I was thinking of, appears to confirm all bodywork is same between pre and post facelift
