  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Found the root of the problem. Took one of the back wheels off and the shock absorber was covered in oil (obviously not working) - which explains the back end twitchiness. Due to the hard suspension you cant do the bounce test. It's odd as it was only MOT'd 2 months ago.

Bilsteins own website had some very good offers last week, 50% off a lot of their shocks so worth a look on there.

The backend seems twitchy from time to time, and nothing could be found at the MOT - Tyres ?
I found a guy out in East London who advertises part-worn tyres. Went over there because I had junk brands mixed with quality and lots of issues. he fixed me up with a pair of Continental winter tyres - part-worn, yes, ok: But only 5% worn! 80 quid the pair. I was staggered. Just driven to the alps and back on these and they were perfect!
