Ireland: Unofficial / Social Irish Meet - Ulster Transport Museum

A local Mini community I'm apart of are trying to organise an outing to the Ulster Transport Museum in Holywood, Co. Down for sometime in January or February. It'll be a Saturday, whichever date suits most people.

The local VW guys (Buses & Bugs) have been invited so I'm just wondering if any of the Irish lot fancy making a day of it to get the numbers up and have a bit of a social. Volvos, VWs and Minis, could be interesting...

Prices are as follows for the Transport Museum;
Adults £5.40
Children (5yrs-18yrs) & Concessions (eg students) £3.40
Under 5's Free

Admission to both museums;
Adults £6.80
Children (5yrs-18yrs) & Concessions (eg students) £3.90
Under 5's Free

There is a 10% discount for groups of 15 or more.

Let me know if your interested and what Saturday dates suit you in January and February.

Only Sat i deffo cant go is the 31 Jan, working all other Sat's in Jan but could maybe book one off, for Feb 7th, & 28th i'm off, others i could maybe book off.

Is this going to be a display or just somewhere to meet up?

Count me in ( as long as I have someone to tail ) ... have they got a DeLorean in that museum by the way? I sat in one last summer and it's been my ambition since to sit in one again :-)

Yikes, as long as they don't start interbreeding ... a 'bug eyed' titch with electrical problems could result!

We won't be having a display of cars apart from having them all parked together which would look cool. It's more of a social meet combined with a day out somewhere we're all interested in. It's not car-specific so don't feel as if your going to be the odd one out!

There is a DeLorean at the museum, although if I remember correctly it's sealed off as an exhibition!

The guy organising this has now announced a date and time;

Saturday 7th February

Meeting at the main carpark of the Transport Museum at 10.30am.

Let me know if your interested so he can get a better idea of numbers.
