Default Who has done a high mileage ?

Have owned my 54 plate XC90 d5 163 from new. generally very satisfied with only Tyres/ front brakes replaced plus rear wheel bearings under warranty. Getting 35K from tyres, 40 plus mpg on motorway trips. performance is completely adequate for purpose including towing large caravan to france. Up to 95K and if the reliabilty continues plan to keep at least two more years. Interested to hear from other high mileage owners - who has got the highest recorded and any problems to look out for over 100K?
(I know the 96K belt change is coming up together with first rear disc/ pads replacement -£££ ouch.)

Not sure on the cost of the cambelt but pads and disks need not be too painful if you stay away from the main stealers

Mileage presently at 164k for my 2005 D5 Exec. No problems to speak of bar the 18" front tyre consumption within 22k miles. Still going strong and very reliable. average MPG with mixed driving at 36.3mpg. 40mpg+ easily achievable at a steady 70mph

on the xc90 parts section of ebay you can get a genuine cam belt and tensioning pully for £60 combined.

Only 72k and 2 years of ownership (bought it at 42k miles) but had to get 2 injectors replaced that approx £700. No other problems to report and genuinely happy

Hi, my tyre consumption is much lower (on Continentals)? Which tyres have you been using?
