Default P80 uprated rear anti Roll Bar

As the title suggest who is running uprated anti roll bars?

So far I've only come across the famous IPD roll bars but I refuse yet again to pay that sort of silly money for them.

So I was wondering is there anything else that can substitute the IPD bars?

Ultra-racing have several options. Also look within Volvos own range. Standard 850 T5s had 17.5mm rear as standard whereas you can get 21.5mm from later C70s, from example.

If you go the up rated ARB route make sure you renew all 4 bushes in the delta link system as it will definitely highlight any weakness!

I am yet to convince myself as at high speed the car feels like it over steers but I need to spend some time adjusting the front rear ride heights as I think that may be causing the issue rather than the ARB...

Low speed cornering is good fun though!

Yes, an ARB from a C70 convertible will fit fine. As PNuT says, you need to consider what your normal driving is and how thicker bars will affect it. Remember that athicker rear ARB will reduce understeer but can make the car twitchier on the rear (esp at speed). Thicker front ARBs will increase understeer on fwd cars but will stabilise the rear in cornering. How much of an impact you see will depend on your spring rates front and rear, and your mass over each axle.

My car is mainly a track car.

So looks like I need to source a c70 anti roll bar from somewhere.

Cheers for the help guys 👍🏾👍🏾
