Default Price hike

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/volvo-740....m46890.l49292

According to this ebay listing I'm selling my parts way too cheap so I will now be charging a grand for an engine and £150 per door 😂😂 I wonder if they've actually managed to sell anything off it!

Probably not!

If an engine was a grand, surely cheaper to send it off to be rebuilt. Only heard of one redblock going bang.

My Aunt bought an E reg 240 GLT grey estate in around 2001. Owner said It used oil, or leaked it and finally through a rod through the block 8 months later. It was scrapped. They lived in Normandy. I had the roof rack for my 740.

The other listings have Cloud Cuckoo-Land prices too!

To be honest I've seen a few on ebay priced in that price area including one that actually was a grand and the listing said "no keys present so no idea if it runs".

Through the wonders of internet and written word I'm unsure if you thought I was being serious or not but no way I will selling an engine at that price... the doors however 😋

Oh dear, wonder what the price for an unscratched door would be, out of the 6 (now 7) 7/900s I've broke I've only ever sold one door and given the rest away as nobody wants them.

According to his feedback, he's sold one Volvo door for silly money. He also has a Volvo engine for £1495 and comes with free wrapping in the form of a stretched 740 limo.
