It's a dual outlet pump. The one pump feeds both the windscreen and headlamp washers. On my S40 the headlamp washers failed but the windscreen washers still worked. Opposite way round to yours. Replacing the pump sorted mine.

According to the garage that replaced mine, it's a Ford Mondeo pump and the Ford part is less than half the price of one from Volvo. Afraid I have no part numbers though.

Can you confirm if you HEAR the pump working when activating it? Lights are washed every few pulls right or any time you have stalk pulled to yourself?
Im just wondering if its not the case of clogged lines or T-connector under the bonnet. Or maybe T-connector is blown and water sprays under the bonnet not reaching the washer?

the headlamp washer pump is a special high pressure one it only works the headlamp washers , Only the V50 has a dual output standard pump ,
