Thanks for the advice Gary.

I'll give the seats a once over with conditioner - at least it will have plenty of time to soak in as I am not using the cars much at the moment.

Got hold of a pre-owned front strut brace. Ultra Racing.
Rubbed down with wire brushes and drill attachments, then treated the minor corrosion, where the bolts had been tightened.
Going to respray it tomorrow and fit it to the car.

Strut brace from Ultra Racing, painted yesterday and fitted this morning.
Looks great, in my opinion.

Picked up a battery charger and did all three cars. Start/stop now working on all and the mirrors on my wife’s Juke fold super quick when it locks.

Ctek CT5 Start-Stop was 80 quid posted from Tayna Batteries in Abergele. Would recommend it and them. Some of the best comms I’ve had for online ordering.

drained auto gearbox oil and refilled - glad I did - the oil was really dirty. Even though it has a full volvo service history I wonder if this is the first time its been done in its 97000 miles & 15 years!

Unfortunately, that is one that often gets "overlooked" in common with, automatic gearbox change/flush and one main dealer serviced Volvo an oil filter that I don't think had never been changed! Plenty of receipts for both oil and filter, but filter almost fully plugged with very small particals that looked not unlike casting sand when changed.

Many say it's life long fluid, that doesn't need changed.
Bollocks!
I had mine fully flushed and refilled, two years ago and again February this year.
First change, the fluid was very black and the transmission changed poorly.
After the refill, the gears changed superbly.
The second refill was just to make sure I had all the gunk out, after the first change.

Just finished fitting new front discs and pads, old discs as thin as cardboard and the pads were not much better either, will need two new calipers before too long, the inside of the piston on both calipers are looking a bit grim.

You could just replace the pistons, Darlo1.
Much cheaper than replacing both callipers.

I had mine fully flushed at over 120,000 miles, which the mechanic was sure was its first change, due to the colour of it.
