Vin number ?????????

My vin number is causing me grief ! Have tried allsorts of places on t'internet to decode it but to no avail, can anyone help me in this please

There's a page somewhere that claims to decode it but it isn't always correct. I'll see if I can find a link.

Ed: I think 965 should mean 960 estate.

Edited to remove possibly erroneous info.

YV1 = it's a Volvo
965 = 960 estate
95 = engine B6304S TWC
6 = gearbox "AW" LOCK-UP
S = model year 1995
1 = made in Sweden
027907 = chassis number
