2.3 for 2.0??????
I have a 91J 940 2.0i with M47 gearbox. eng. code B200F
Can i replace this with a B230 with no modifications????? Thank you

I do not think that there are any significant differences, provided you use one with identical fuel and ignition systems and sensors. All the best, Peter |

Indeed, replacing like for like is the easiest and then it increases in difficulty up until the level where you stick an 850T5R engine in a 144 (has been done). Taking say a 1989 B230F engine and stick that into a car with a 1989 B200F will be the car maintenance equivalent of "Plug and play" whereas the 850T5R engine into a 144 is more like writing binary code.
