Clan we’ve had this discussion a few times. I live in a soft water area and have loads of trouble with white deposits since the car was new. No problems in the winter it’s always the summer when the weather is hot. During the summer I have to dismantle the rear washer supply at least twice. The one way valve in the upper boot lid blocks up, with white deposits and I have to clean it. I flush more water through the pipe and it comes out like Lux flakes. Tried different fluids but it’s still the same. My wiper feeds blocked up last summer and I removed them and used a compressor to blow them out. I get white deposits all over the bonnet from the headlight washers. I’ve reported this numerous times but there doesn’t seem to be an answer. I still think it’s something to do with the pipes and their internal coating.

That's weird , are you sure they are actually using volvo wash fluid ? Its not something i've seen on any volvo using volvo fluid . Plenty of problems with the cheap salt based fluid though , including bacteria growth . The white deposits need analysing to find out exactly what it is ...

I have a similar problem. White powder coming out of the washer jets since new. Now the rear wash is completely blocked but can still hear the pump working.

Where do I find the none return valve that needs cleaning?

Open the boot and at the top of the rear screen there is a panel about 2 feet long. Gently prise this off , it’s held by a few clips but fairly easy to get off.
You will, see the washer pipe feeding to the right hand side where the washer jet is. The main pipe goes into a connector, disconnect this. You can then with your fingers easily push the washer jet off the car which leaves you with the jet and pipe and 2 connectors. Pull this lot apart and you will find that one of them is a one way valve and that is one that blocks. There is a small silver ball bearing in it. I soaked it in hot water and with a pin cleaned it out. Whilst you have this lot off put a bowl on the parcel and pull the main pipe off it’s clips and put it into the bowl. Operate the rear washer until the water becomes clear. Put it back together and hopefully all will be ok. I can do it in my sleep now , it’s not difficult to do
