What MY is your car? And did you have halogen or xenon before?

If you go from xenon to ABL-xenon you have to disconnect the heigth adjustment motor, or it will angle the low beams waaaay too low. I'm searching for a cure...

If you go from halogen to ABL-xenon you need to do a little mod because xenons are 35W vs 55W for halogen... there are probably many threads here on the forum covering the mod.

I asked for a quote from Johnsons Solihull for these and was quoted £130 for each fog light! Said they had to be ordered from Sweden.

Has anyone else received a quote in the UK which is more sensible?

Sorry, I double checked. It was £72 each. But that was a dealer in Poland. A colleague of mine picked them up. Haven't checked the price in Norway, since they're usually twice as expensive as anywhere else.

Thanks Andreas.

I was wondering how you had managed to buy at that price especially knowing Norway as spent sometime there awhile back. Everything is expensive!

Beautiful country though. Spent time in Oslo, Tonsberg and Sandefjord.

You don't have the dealers details do you? It might be cheaper to import than buy locally.

Regards

Sydney.

Have no idea which dealer he got them from, unfortunately... I told him to stop by a dealership along the way and ask if they had the lamps...which they did, yey

If you want to practice your Polish you could try this one:

http://allegro.pl/halogen-led-volvo-...415260189.html

They're around £70 each + p&p.

would it be possible to use the sensor that dims the radio screen as a way of controlling/switching off the DRL's when darkness arrives, am keen to fit the lights but because I leave my light switch in the "on" position want a system that will automatically switch the DRL's off.
