Default Help with Diagnostic codes

Recently purchased 2015 xc60 AWD 2.4 very pleased with the comfort and build quality, My only gripe is that cruising at 60-70 mph I only get 30 - 33 mpg.
I thought this was originally due to maybe regeneration but now seems every time I go on the motorway.

I have recently scanned the car and it is showing the two following codes:

P0102 mass or volume air flow A circuit low.
P0133 intake air temp sensor A circuit high.

Can anyone shed some light on what the codes mean and whether they could be responsible for the low mpg.

Thanks in advance

Found a few things through googling:

https://exhaustsystemsguide.com/p0102/
https://autoservicecosts.com/obd2-codes/p0113/

Both errors can result in a poor air/fuel mixture so it stands to reason that this would be reflected in your mpg.

Use the live data on your scan tool to view the intake temperature on a cold engine with just ignition on then through warm up to see if it is reporting credible temperatures and view the MAF airflow in g/s throughout the rev range and report back.

Dice and Vida is invaluable for such a new car as it will interrogate all 15+ modules compared to the 1 or 2 modules using your generic tool.
It will also explain each code and offer suggestions as to the cause(s) and fix(es) whilst providing a complete parts catalogue and workshop manual.

If you're interested in having dealer level diagnostics which are guaranteed to work for a reasonable price, just let me know on my long running thread here.
