EGR and DPF problems - Page 2

I would have tried some contact lubricant on the injector connectors first - these are a common issue on the D5 leading to injector codes.

Well I have ran around in the car for the past two days (granted I can't and don't go far at the moment!) and have put on about 60 miles and no faults showing.
Car seems to be running smooth and hasn't gone into limp mode or showing any DPF issues.
Only thing I can say is every now and again their is a smell of burnt diesel and it's as if the faulty injector was causing the DPF issues and it is actually cleaning itself now.
Hopefully this will carry on.
