PayPal is the preference and if you don't have it, they're running a promotion for new customers where they will give you £10.

As I currently have no Dice though, this is all moot so we'll have to look at things again when that changes.

Default Has the spec of a suitable laptop changed?

I do have a W7 Pro laptop which I understand has enough RAM and HDD space.
Are many of the units from China faulty?

If I had to average it out, over 20% don't work.
The failure rate is certainly high enough to justify me doing what I do plus the garbage instructions they supply trip up buyers too.

I guess a tested unit is worth more than an untested one (at £75 inc P&P)
Should I conclude that you supply instructions in unambiguous English?

Yes, I supply a video showing the complete installation process.
It also includes simple and quick solutions to the most commonly experienced problems which aren't covered in any other instructions.

I'm also available by email for a quick response to any installation queries.

I would like to stop the car showing the anti-skid service message, but I am not convinced that spending £700 is necessary.
Although it has been ignored during the last 3 MOT's, I was informed that MOT guidance frequently changes, and they are likely to fail it for the message.
If the ABS unit is from Bosch, they have service/repair centres, but I can't be certain unless I can find the unit and get the details.
If I can clear the message, it will buy me some time.

The important thing to note is that if the problem which creates a code and warning persists, the code and warning will return regardless of how sophisticated the code reader is.

What Vida can do is give you detailed information on the code along with its possible causes and fixes.
Additionally, if for example the Brake Control Module is defective, the integrated workshop manual will help you to remove it so it can be sent for repair for much less than the quoted cost you've been given.

This is all hypothetical though and the cause and solution will be whatever it will be but Dice and Vida will certainly help and continue to be of use for as long as you have the car.
