Default 960 A/C weird behavior

I have a 1997 960 with the 3.0 inline 6 engine.
My AC is working weirdly.
I have used the car very little in this pandemic so it has been parked for weeks at a time. I had the AC recharged because it was lacking gas. It worked fine for a few days but now it is acting up.
1- When I switch the blower on it starts as if it is lacking power, making a hum, hum, hum noise. This hum, hum, hum starts getting faster and then it disappears and all works fine. It takes about 5 minutes to stop doing that.
I checked the blower fan unit from the cowl and it has nothing obstructing the movement or the flow.
2- Today I was driving and reduced the fan speed from 3 to 1 and noticed the speed did not change. It actually was blowing at maximum speed as if it was in the 5 position. I turned it off but the fan would not shut down. It kept blowing at max speed until I switched the car completely off. I restarted the car and it worked normally.
3- When I got home I turned off the AC using the blue button and it started blinking. The Recirc red button also started blinking. It stopped when I switched the car off.
Any help will be appreciated.
Regards

First thing to do is read your handbook to ensure you know how to use the A/C correctly. Second is pull the codes from your A/C system.

https://www.volvoclub.org.uk/faq/Hea...iagnosticCodes

That tells you how to pull the codes.
