Yes, it does but no gauze (metal or plastic) in the flame trap that Volvo delightfully term a "nipple". They also call the hollow bolt that goes through the oil cooler to hold it on and mount the oil filter on a nipple as well though..............

Well I can certainly recommend changing the breather box, this engine is no longer desperately trying to squeeze oil out of every orifice ... which is nice.
I changed the rocker cover gasket ('cos I had one in the gasket pack from when I did the head gasket), changed the oil with standard semi-synth QX 10W40, oil filter and scrubbed/blasted all the black oil gunk off the bottom of the engine so I can detect the next leak . Now Scooby is suggesting a better class of 10W40, and the Garage guys are into Comma at the moment, so next change will probably be less random (cheap). I should still check the recirc tubes are clear, not backpressuring into the crankcase on liftoff, don't know. Recirc valve itself was excellent last time I looked.
