Default XC60 with electronic climate control

Hi, we’ve got a problem with the air con in our XC60 2012 D3 auto. Last night we picked up the car at Alicante airport and drove about 125 miles, mainly motorway. The outside temperature was about 22C and the air con kept the car really cold. This morning, the outside temperature is over 30C and there is no cold air. Any ideas?

I've now read out the fault code for the CCM. The fault showing is CCM-B1A6909 Humidity Sensor - Component Failures. Not really sure how this stops the air con working.

I have had that persistent humidity sensor component failure message for years. I assumed it was aircon related, but the aircon did and has still worked fine. I thought the sensor was in the heater assembly, which is very inaccessible. I recently learned the sensor is on the windscreen, behind the the rear view mirror shroud.
