Post Srut Brace

Hi guys,
Will a top mounted strut brace cut down on scuttle shake my "55" plate C70?
If so, is anyone selling one at a nice cheap price?

Q1... Yes a strut brace will help reduce scuttle shake. But 'pattern' ones by manufacturers are usually rubbish and don't really do the job.

Q2... Strut braces are very rare and are snapped quickly. Keep an eye open in the "For Sale" section coz quite a few breakers/dismantlers who are Volvo specialists advertise there; put a request in the "Wants" section for the same reason.

You might, if you are extremely lucky find one on ebay... but quite often, those are not genuine Volvo items and are rubbish!

OEM volvo ones used to be around £60. I've heard you can't buy them now.

I would look at Ultra Racing. They do a lot for our cars (850 & /S/V/C 70)

Just to add to the above ^^^^^^

Do not be tempted by a left hand drive strut. It will not fit!

I doubt it will fit P80 cars.

That will not fit. A completely different strut brace for a completely different car.
