Limp mode issues XC70 D5 2003
Hi, looking for some help please with my XC70 D5 2003.
I have owned her for years and have found much help from this group. I have the dreaded limp mode, generic code P2044 which I believe is Ecm 6805. The car has had this before and been fixed. I have read and printed Mike's sticky for my mechanic.............. The intercooler isn't that old. The fuel filter is less than 5000 miles old. My mechanic blanked off the hose that runs from the engine mounts(the ones that come from the T split) no change. He is stumped because she goes into limp mode, only when the engine is cold. I CANNOT get her to go into limp mode when the engine is warm, even if I boot her up a steep hill. Is there anything that seems obvious? That would only happen when she is cold........???? She is old and I don't want to spend a fortune on diagnostics, if it is something that is obvious to someone here. Many thanks Sam Last edited by sam75; Apr 25th, 2022 at 12:18.
