Homelink

My XC60 is due for dlivery in September. One of the Dealer Accessories I would like to have fitted is the Homelink system (our other car has this factory fitted). I understand Volvo no longer offer this in the UK but my dealer has suggested he can fit the Homelink system on the left hand sun visor. I know Volvo still offer this in the USA so possibly this is the source. Does anyone know if the frequencies etc. used in the US system are compatible with the UK?

i was interested in this, but in the end just stuck my remote to the underside of the steering wheel using velcro stickers. works a treat, and no grubby finger marks on the sun visor.

sorry it doesn't help answer your question, but maybe it could be an alternative for you too.
