Default XC60 Fuel problem

I have a 2010 XC60 S D5 Diesel & I have a problem with (I think!) the fuel system. The car starts perfectly every time, irrespective of the weather. However, when I drive away there is very little power. The engine is not “missing” and it feels like fuel starvation. After a few minutes, the engine picks up and drives normally. However, when I stop - even for just a couple of minutes - the problem recurs. The car has done approx 100,000 miles & has been serviced regularly & generally runs like a dream! Not sure if it’s: fuel filter/sensor/fuel pump/blocked injector(s) - any suggestions/advice gratefully received!

Any codes ?

My D3 would start fine, drive fine for the first mile or so then after slowing for a roundabout or junction would go in to limp mode. It did not always do this though the issue did become more frequent although never from start, always after a mile or so.
Switching off the ignition while rolling and restarting it usually fixed it.

It did throw a code (I can't for the life of me remember what it showed up as using an OBDII reader) but never the EML.

After replacing the fuel filter and checking all the hoses with no improvement it was the boost control valve. Bought a replacement Pierburg unit problem solved.

Getting it plugged in to VIDA (or other suitable diagnostic) is the only way to diagnose this with certainty - you need to be monitoring the fuel pressure as you drive it.
