my spelling is absolutely atrocious, mythbusters is an american program
(for those who have not seen it) that proves that things work or dont and my dad saw one of the programes that
was doing a test on fuel and he says that the additives used did not work
and some made the cars worse, i havent seen it myself anybody
else seen the program (or a similar one as it might not have been mythbusters knowing my dad) as me and my dad have different views on the subject
especially as i bought 10 bottles of the stuff for 50p each in a b+q sale
cheers,cam.

Here's my verdict.

Having used a full bottle of Redex in a full tank, and now having used that full tank, I can honestly say that I've noticed exactly zilch difference.

In the past I've used STP Injector Cleaner (on a previous car) and that did make a very noticeable difference, but that was on a car whose engine was on its way out and the STP probably just bought it a bit of time.

So my verdict is this:
STP Injector Cleaner 1, Redex Nil.

How much water did you use?

Do you know if there is an alternative to SeaFoam for the UK?

I used about a litre but couldn't find any replacement for seafoam. Granted - I looked for about 60 seconds at halfords
