Default 240 torslander estate

1993 K 120, 000 miles.

I am very new to Volvo's and am wondering if this would be a good buy if it is in good condition when I see it. It is being sold by a small family run firm in North Yorkshire for £1500.00.

Cheers Matt

(A Google search for the dealers will get you a location map - close to Bedale in Yorkshire.)

See other thread on high mileages. Sounds a good buy as long as it has a proper FSH and has been garaged. Check for incipient rust in all the usual places. Watch for evidence of chronic windscreen leakage.

My first Volvo was one of these. The price sounds about right for a 'minter'. Make sure you get a warranty for that price though I would want a years worth but I suppose 6 months parts & labour would be acceptable. I ran mine from 86,000 up to 134,000 , towed a 5 berth caravan & it never missed a beat. I sold it three years ago now. It is still living locally, see it most weeks out & about.
Enjoy they're great wagons.
