Default 2008 XC70 SE Lux D5 AWD

Hi all

Unfortunately I’ve made the decision to sell my XC70, I’ve not owned it long, the main reason for sale is, due to new circumstances, it will no longer fit on the drive! It’s been a great car though.

It’s a 2008 SE Lux with keyless go/entry, inside its black leather, it has 145000 miles on it, with a full Volvo service history (11 stamps) and an MOT until 1st of March 2019 (there’s some more receipts with work undertaken) some of it during my ownership, It has 2 keys, and detachable tow bar.

The paint is in good condition with the mileage, the alloy wheels would need a re rurbishment at some point, as the paint is bubbling, they do hold the pressure. The drivers mirror doesn’t electrically retract, but the passenger one does. The boot opening catch sticks, but I use the key, or dash button to open the power boot.

Itve just purchased a new set of General Grabber AT3’s for the winter, and have the Pirelli scorpions that we’re on it originally which I’ll include in the sale.

It’s had some new (second hand) Xenon lights fitted as the originals were cracked, I’ve also had the rear windows tinted, and a rear spoiler fitted which looks great

I do have a smaller car on the way soon, so would be looking for £4000
The dealer are going to notify me of when the new car will be delivered which should say when the XC70 is all available, they provisionally told me next Monday.

I’ve found another company called ‘trusted car buyers’ they seem to be offering £3796. Not sure if they’re like WBAC.

I’ve gone for a VW Up GTI, will be a bit of a change in size.. but for a daily driver it will work well for here, and leave enough room on the drive way for the weekend car as well.

Will be a bit of a change, they do seem to get good reviews, I will miss the XC though, and knowing my luck it will be another snowy winter!!

It’s a 2015 Exige Roadster, I’ve only had it about a month, quite a scary thing on a damp road!
Hopefully I’ll be able to get the OH’s Corsa, the Up and the Exige on the same drive..

Very nice......a pocket rocket a friend of mine has one can be very scary in the wet and that’s speaking from experience I was the passenger!
