But what is the real cost? What’s the highest and lowest consumption that you’ve experienced and highest/lowest cost per litre to buy the stuff?
XC90 B5 MY20, used 10 litres for around 6-7000 km. Price was 10 euros for 10 litres.
The cost is so low, so I wouldn't be bothered about it....

It is not the cost of Adblue but the weight of a 10 litre container and getting the spout into the filler spout in the car. I cannot handle the large container when it is fulll or nearly full - hence my question

The easy solution is to get hold of a 10 litre container (empty), and empty 5 litres into that, before filling the half-full AdBlue container onto your car.
Or to have a second person helping you. Person 1 holds the container, person 2 holds the spout.

You can buy it in 5 litre containers which may be easier then, although it does cost more. By far and away the easiest is to top up when you see it on a pump.
