Question Volvo V60 T4 2013 - radio/head unit replacement

Hi,

I bought V60 (Japanese imported) and want to replace the radio/head unit to receive Irish radio stations. I ordered the head unit from eBay. As far as I know, this should work but I'm not sure what the replacement process is. I don't want to mess with CCM or CEM. Do I have to disconnect the car battery before unplugging any leads from the head unit or is this not necessary? I heard that I might have to go to Volvo to reset the amplifier component, which is probably located under the seat.

Can anyone help me / advise how to DIY?

I would always suggest disconnecting the battery before removing electronic components of a car.
