WELCOME TO OPMS-Orkney's first car show dedicated to modern classics,performance,modified and motorsport themed cars.
Firstly,thanks for visiting the webpage.Seeing as you have found us,then congratulations!We will be having our first show at Orkney Auction Mart on Saturday 15th August,where you will see some motoring exotica,with famous names such as Ferrari,Lamborghini and Mercedes amongst others.We also hope to have some American muscle as well as modern classics from the 1970's thru to the most up to date perfomance cars.
SHOW AND SHINE COMP
A show and shine competition will also be held in association with Orkney Factors and Megiuars,with a Megiuars goody bag for the winning entry.Entry forms for the show and shine will be available from Orkneyshow@aol.com.
WE NEED YOUR CARS!!
Now,this is where you come in.As this show is for Enthusiasts as well as the general public,we need your cars! If you have an interesting car hidden away in a garage or shed,or are working on a restoration,have a factory tuned or in-house tuning firm has worked on your car,or even have an old jalopy with a bit of history,or have done a bit of upgrading work yourself and want to show it off,we want to hear from you.Looking for performance versions and modern classics,like Classic style Minis or the new style Mini Coopers,VW Beetles(old shape and new) Golfs or Golf GTi's(mk1 and 2)R32's,V5's,4motions,Corrado's,Scirocco's, Capri's,MK1/2/3 Escorts and Cortina's,Pugeot 205 GTis,MK1/2 Golf GTI's,MK3 Golf VR6's,Escort or Sierra Cosworths,Focus RS(old shape) or STI,1970's vans,Vauxhall Cavaliers MK1/2(especially the SRi models in the MK2 range),Vauxhall Nova/Corsa/Astra GTE GSi,SRi,SR,Nissan GTiR,Skylines,200sx,Honda Type R's,Subaru Impreza,Mitsibushi EVO's of any type and anything thats had extensive modifications to the engine,body or both!
This isn't an exclusive list,anything will be considered.
If you have a car that you would like to display,send your details to the Email address and we will send a form to you.Please include details of make,model, year and any modifications made or call 07798 704610 for an display car entry form.
Gates will be open from 10am and will remain open thru to 5pm.An entrance fee of 2.50 for adults and a family ticket of 4.50.Concessionary will be 2.00 for OAP and those under 16.
Proceeds will be donated to the Mcmillan fund for Cancer research.
Adults are responsible for thier children as exhibits inside the hall will be roped off so please refrain from leaving fingermarks on the cars!
Finally,we hope to make this a fun and family friendly show with a laid back atmosphere,so drugs or alcohol will not be permitted inside the show park,nor will anyone deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol be allowed into the show park.You have been warned!

Having said that, if there's another show in a year or two (whenever the 164RS is finished) I might be tempted to bring it up. Always fancied a trip up your way and a car show would be a good excuse!

theres a vintage show each year, and this OPMS is hopefully going to be once an year too.
