The annual show at Terenure College in Dublin maintained its pattern of 'bigger than last year'. Notwithstanding the on/off drizzling rain, it was an enjoyable event attracting everything from Austin 10s to Silver Clouds. There was no Volvo Club presence, but the marque was represented by:

1967 1800s
1967 Amazon
1970 164
1972 144GL (mine!)
1977 244DL (mustard coloured, the Show's Raffle Prize, in aid of Enable Ireland, €5 per ticket!)
1989 760GLE

The non Club cars were consigned to the periphery of the field. However, the Jensen Owners Club kindly invited me to park in their 'back garden'. Thanks, Guys.

Perhaps there might be a Volvo Club presence next year, and we can be equally generous wth our territory?! I attach a couple of pics from the day. Regards. ( . . . Sorry Guys, no matter how I try, the server will not upload the pics. Will try again some other time)

Barry, lovely 144! I'm glad you made it to the show and enjoyed it - it always seems to drizzle with rain!!

I've just realised your 144 is an Australian import (grille badge and your past posts). Get a few pictures of it up in the Showroom forum, it looks like a beautiful car!
