Check if you have signal high or low injector faultcodes
Some wires can break partly and the amps cant get trough and that can give misfires and longer cranking |

I did previously see an injector 1 code but never see it again after I cleared the codes, so when I started getting a fairly substantial misfire (like starting on 4.1 cylinders) until about 150m down the road and taking for too long to start, it was at that point I decided to gamble on an replacement injector, twas a punt for £40, it pretty much paid off, I've not seen the code since nor got a clue what it was about either, I have a feeling it was a previous owner code as it was early on in my ownership when I cleared them....

Most codes clears itself if the drivecycle is complete without the fault occuring

Makes sense, I just seem to have a slight misfire until the engine is part warm, I mean it is very slight, hardly noticeable, but starting is fine since changing that 1 and fuel filter, and glow plugs and, think that was it actually, lol but then I did have the starting issue and the misfire, not its just the 0.5% of the misfire left to deal with, probably sold a dud injector, I will do another leak back test and poss get another injector and see if that helps, thanks for ya advice

Hi guys thanks for the response I don’t have any starting issues or have any misfire (although I don’t have Vida or dice to check).
I have noticed that The car has a only be what I can only describe as whistling when I have my foot on the accelerator. Also on looking around yesterday I noticed that the TVC has only one connection (the bottom one), the side one is missing so it seems I have a lack of vacuum too |

That I am not sure with regards to a new one, possibly, I'm sure I have read that somewhere, I just bought a used one off of ebay, no coding necessary
