It may well be worth £8,000 in 6 years time when it qualifies as an historic vehicle, until then £4,000 to £5,000 would be right.

... looking back, it would seem that motor car sold for £4,300 last time, but I think the dealer that bought it had advertised it for more since then.

I think you're right Alan, seem to recall seeing it up for £5995 or maybe it was £5495, certainly a big uplift when he did nothing to it.

Something about the current bidding (£3600) suggests shill bidding or perhaps i'm just over-cynical.
