Default V70 P3 Sunroof Problem

Over Christmas I tried to put the sun roof in to the tilt position, there was a snapping sound and nothing moved. Now the Motor will cycle through the open and tilt but the roof doesn't move. I was wondering if there is a single point of fail in the mechanism (drive gear or Clip) that I could target before taking the glass out out and possible roof lining.
any help would be great.
Thanks
Chris

Hi. Reads similar to my car. The button and motor work but nothing moves. Have been recommended to replace this plastic cog. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154311335...mis&media=COPY

Will not be tackling this until itmgets warmer but will let you know if it is this, or not.

So turned out to be a shattered metal cog on the motor. £6 generic replacement from eBay, a file, a hammer and it's all fixed and in full working order. All I need now is some sun to go with the sunroof.
