Default Clutch woes

I've just been trying to bleed the clutch on my m90 940, because the pedal stayed down on the floor when you depressed it back when I picked it up. However, the pedal is super light and it barely moves the clutch fork, although I'm not sure how far it's meant to move, I'd guess it needs to be more than it is doing.

Any ideas?
Ben.

Can you get someone to press the clutch pedal as you watch and check the piston travel on the slave cylinder?
Is the white plastic cap still present on the end of the piston?

As an aside check the condition of the flexible hose connecting the clutch metal pipe on the wing to the slave cylinder.Feel the underneath condition of the flexi as these can rub on the suspension and wear away the rubber.Result pipe failure and loss of clutch and brake fluid, sods law when travelling down the motorway at 70mph.
