Default DIM or CEM ?

Hi, new member but with many Volvo estates under the belt in 20 years. V70 constantly entertaining over last 10 years (the throttle body escapade in Europe is worthy of a trilogy alone).
Warning Lights on DASH constantly on and off and electrical system never great. Last week we had a new one: brake failure stop asap and no speedometer working.
Have searched this and it seems as though the DIM or the CEM may be at fault?
Due for MOT soon and will have all the mechanics checked.

Default Good job from Lukas

I had a 2002 v70 instrument cluster repaired and Lukas at volvodiagnostic.com did a stearling job, works just great and very reasonable price indeed. Swapped my broken cluster for reconditioned one for £200, sent mine back to Lukas in the same packaging, he fixed it and refunded me all by £65 quid.. + postage.. very reasonable indeed. Very happy and would recommend Lukas' work.

I'll be in contact shortly to repair my Radio. The display is off, but everything else works. Tad frustrating

Default Lukas is a great resource, excellent service.

Just a quick recommendation for the work done by Lukas. Has helped me with my S60 CEM. If you are not near a main dealer, or don't have the dealer cash to spend, Volvo Diagnostic (Lukas) is an excellent alternative. His services provide hope for those of us running older cars when we are running out of options after the electronics play up.

Highly recommended.

Default UEM Repair

The UEM (Upper Electronic Module) failed in my 2006 XC70.
I sourced a replacement UEM via ebay with the same part number and at 09.30am on Monday sent the original faulty unit and replacement to Lukas to do his thing with them.
I had the replacement unit back on my doorstep at 09.00am on Wednesday.
All fitted and working perfectly.
Brilliant service and saved myself over £500 on what the main dealer wanted to charge me.
Highly recommended!!
