Well I tried it with the bungee cord and it works well, however the bulk of the metal clips causes them to slightly squash part of the rubber seal. I don't think it affects anything but it's not idea - you can see it doing it in the video too.

It's an improvement, but I will try the bungee cord as that looks a bit neater.

Default C70 SOFT-TOP scuffing

Hello, I have a 2001 C70 soft-top that has scuff marks on the top rear corners of the roof.

I did read on a forum somewhere (can't find it now) that this was because the 'elastic straps' were no longer elastic.

Can anyone tell me how many there are, and where?

I have found one either side about half way along that has lost their elasticity, but can't see what they are supposed to hook onto.

Are these the only twi in the roof? Many thanks
