I'm not seeing a metal box? I can see a shiny heatshield but nothing bolted to the air intake...don't get me wrong it's a fine car. I was just asking from a technical point of view...

Are you familiar with Amazons? It's a single carb engine with a round Black Air filter housing bolted to the Carb' with 3 bolts and has a inlet pipe coming off it pointing forwards toward the radiator. The filter is housed inside the circular housing.................

Thanks Andy. I'm familiar with B20 single Stromberg engines yeah...but in picture 8 and 9 I've realised that the engine is in two states of undress. Fuel pipe and rad hose from the thermostat housing isn't on either, so I guess these are just good under bonnet pictures for the sale....as you were. Sorry
