Default C70 G Tronic Over Revving Issue

Hi
Difficult to explain this but here we go
Did a 600 mile round trip in 2 days in my 07 81k miles c70 g tronic and found that what i can only describe as over revving like a clutch slip on a manual car when under load.
Cruising along , go to over take, foot down and the revs go up but not much surge but when it feels as if it bites the revs drop and away we go, the delay is probably 1.5 sec. When i put it in to manual mode and im in lets say 4th gear foot down again revs go up and then they drop again as previous.
Could this be my torque convertor?
Anyone else had this issue?
Cheers

Stef

After a gearbox oil and filter change this issue has gone away.
Well pleased
