2012 S60 T4 fuel problem

Hi. Is there anyone ever experienced fuel problems on this car. I have changed the plugs, the faults are clearing up, the engine functions on a safety mode. It takes time to start at times, petrol smells if you start the car.

I am suspecting a fuel pressure sensor, fuel pump, ECM, petrol filter. The mechanic said the problem might be huge. He had an experienced where injectors or pistols had to be changed to solve the problem.

I want to start the repairs knowing how much could be the extent of the damage. Is there anyone who had ever experienced a similar problem, please help
