Default 440 Rear Arch Rust

Signs of the dreaded rust coming through, guess the usual affliction with inner wing. But, had anyone had these repaired? Is it a straightforward job, are there repair panels? Does anyone have a rough idea of what it could cost to have done?

Any thoughts?

Hiya man, should of realized that at least you would answer!!

To be honest, the whole of each side has gone or going along the length to the point that I've looked up the repair panels from Skandix as a possible option. I've gave it a thorough (probably too late) under arch wash and I even have bits coming away in my hands. I think its all or nothing!! I can do piccies if it would improve things but I can't realistically get under the arch.

Guess nobody else has had them done...

If chunks are coming away in your hands it is possible the inner arch has rusted away too as this is what has happened to my 360

If you can't do the repairs yourself it might be worth taking it to a garage and see what they say, or see if someone on here is close to you and willing to help out.

Someone at Orwell crossing meets had their 400 done, only for the arches to rot away again later. I think they said around 500 quid all in (paintt, new panel, labour)

Iv never had mine done, but surface rot is comming through
