Well said Sir.

Back in 2003 I had an imported Honda Integra XSi (160bhp VTEC) the moment you sat in it and started the engine there was a kind of 'fizzy' feeling in the car and it was go-kart like to drive, not 'fast' but exiting and engaging.

Volvo's aren't like that as standard, they're more for comfort, cruising and being peaceful. Volvo's generally object to being thrown around on twisty roads.

Nooooo!

I've never had a turbo before, so even this LPT in the C30 is pretty fun to me!

The C30 is actually the same size and weight bar a few millimetres as an S40/V50...

Handling/driving characteristics will be the same as one another in standard form.

The C30 has about 9 inches cut off the back of the floor pan behind the bumper so sure to be lighter , same dimensions in the back seat though .

Didn't look that much when I had my parents C30 and S40 side by side but I'll take your word for it.

They have essentially the same chassis/suspension setup though, so I doubt anyone would tell the different between the two when driving them.

Isn't there a saying along the lines of "If you're bored of a T5 you're bored of life"??
