Question Green Lanes/ Public Byway's

Appreciate that depending on where you are in the country, some byways will be far too challenging or not appropriate for our vehicles but there's some more subtle casual routes out there...has anybody used them?

I had some good fun yesterday with some near me!! Very wet and muddy, but the car coped very well..and most importantly no damage done :-)

brave man doing that in a Volvo mate! I took my XC90 out some light routes that ive done for years when i was big into offroading, needless to say the xc90 was utter garbage, got stuck at the first hurdle lol

From videos on youtube...the xc90 seems to be the least capable of the XC series for some reason... maybe it's the weight..the drivers..tyres don't know..

I found the '60 pretty Damn capable...it was fun!!

I off road a lot due to the nature of my work. I would NOT offroad in anything other than an actual pickup or SUV with height adjustable suspension. The potential for damage to the underside is very high.

There is no way I would subject an XC90 or XC60 or any other Volvo to this kind of stunt:
