System was custom made by Flux, incredible work.
I'll have a look Dom, I've heard of Flux...

Yeh man, i'l drop a video as soon as its done, car is still being worked on as it has a K16 hybrid getting mapped at the moment. Should sound insane as the K16 really flutters like crazy with an induction cone on!

Truth be told, I think I want something a bit more utilitarian and rugged looking, like a P2 XC70 2.5T AWD.

They have really started to grow on me recently. They look extremely purposeful and I feel the engine is better suited to a heavy utility vehicle rather than a sports saloon.

Fair enough, maybe it's time for a change. On a slightly different note, I think the new XC40/60/90 are damned fine looking things... totally different proposition and price bracket though!

Yes T5R92011 spot on the money there, im actually thinking of exactly the same thing as well but as a second car for all the daily work. Tried one out and they are great, just going to play a waiting game for a good example. I think there can be a lot of quite expensive problems with the haldex system when doing research? but otherwise they sound like good motors.

The angle gear collar can (and does) strip it's splines so you may end up with FWD only. All P2 AWD are affected by this but apparently the P3 collars are much tougher and will fit.

Some people just weld the collar onto the angle gear to fix it permanently.

Thing is when you get underneath a P2 vehicle and you look at how substantial everything is, it almost makes the cost of maintenance justified.
