Thumbs up V70 T5 Turbo question?

Hi All! Looking to do a light upgrade on my 850 and replace my 15t with a 16t, can anyone tell me if the mk1 V70 t5 only used the 16t? The turbo I am looking at buying has no numbers and all I know is that it cam out of a V70 t5.

Your main issue will be getting one with the exhaust flange you want. They all have the same manifold joint but early 850's had a conical flange (crap for flow) then later 850's and S/V/C70's up to late 1998/99 had a 2.5 inch straight flange (better) and then 99 onwards had a 3 inch angled flange (best). Each has a corresponding downpipe which you need to match.

Beware that you may need to get larger injectors and/or a remap if you go for something significantly different from your current setup.

Thanks for info, the general consensus seems that the 16t will go on 850 t5 without needing larger injectors or a remap though some talk about changing the ecu? I don't want to start changing too much just a light warm over and slighlty less turbo lag. I know you can get the bhp up to significant amounts but without any sort of slip diff etc.. it's a bit pointless on a fwd car unless you just want to stay in one place wheel spinning? I am lucky that I have a specialist exhaust fabricator and tunning specialist in my Village but don't want to spend money until I've got my head around sensible changes available.
