Default Monday Laugh!

This is at my expense but i just had to laugh.

I bought some "self cling" type window tint last week and was told all i had to do to apply is was to wet the inside of the window with warm soapy water and then apply and squeegy the water out.

So, Saturday morning i did this taking care to put the lesser tinted stuff onto the front side windows to comply with the law. It all went on ok, i was quite pleased, no bubbles and it looked pretty good!

I then went away Saturday afternoon until last night and took the girlfriends car leaving mine locked up in the garage.

This morning i went to get the car to take it to work and all the window tinting had fallen off! ALL OF IT.

Seems like i made a mistake somewhere!

was this the stuff you get on ebay.
I was going to get some myself, as the kids dont like people looking at them when they sit in the extra seats at the back.

Nothing at all, just a roll of tinted acrylic.

Tried looking for a peely back part but there doesn't seem to be anything there?! It's not the one with the lady in front on Ebay. this was a private seller with no pictures.

i tinted some windows on a ford capri ages ago.the stuff i used had a very thin clear film which had to be removed to expose the adhesive side.
as i was removing the clear film from the tinted stuff with the sticky side i had to mist soapy water on to the adhesive.then apply to the windows and use a squeegee to remove air bubbles.
it took a couple of ruined pieces sticking glue to glue, ripping etc before i decided to read the instructions, then it all became clear.
i hope you get it sorted.
