Broken exhaust hanger & mot

Hi all

Just after i booked my car in for it's next mot, i decided to give it a bit of a once over to check anything obvious that it could possibly fail on. Whilst looking underneath, i realized the rear exhaust hanger had corroded and had broken off! i have bodged it with a jubilee clip and it is secure but wondered if this would warrant a fail? Would i be better purchasing something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2915450357...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT or is my bodge sufficient enough to take to an mot?

Mine didn't fail with a very similar bodge...
Later I fixed it better with an exhaust hanger kit from eBay.

Thanks for that, i might just go in and show them before it goes in for the mot and ask what they think? Mot not getting done till 12th sept so plenty of time to sort if they are not happy!
