Srs light

Hi,new member here looking for assistance just posted this apparently in the wrong section ,so here I am typing again ,,,acquired 08 s40 couple of months back ,,,other day battery died on me and srs light came on ,,have now renewed battery,,and am looking for assistance in getting srs light off ,,I googled vida/dice and was directed to this forum,,,and a member adamr8965 who is 12 miles from me,,if Adam can help or another member in the area,would be greatly appreciated,,,,the Volvo dealer in Malton 40 mile away wants 60 quid for starters....I'm in Bridlington so East Yorkshire area not a problem ,,,can anyone please save me from the dreaded Volvo stealer,,,,,,,cheers....text me on 07786623434 and I will ring you back,,,,

if someone has dive and VIDA they can reset your SRS system if that's all that is required. which it sounds like as all that happened is your battery died.

Otherwise it's a main dealer, and they charge a full hour for resetting it, providing there is nothing wrong with the system.

Hi thanks,,,,it seems the light came on same time as battery died ,,so hopefully someone can reset it for me ,maybe a case of ale or a bottle of scotch what ever your pleasure ,,,or it's a case of Volvo dealer next week,,,,thanx again,,
