Default Pirelli Tyres

Hello All,

I've read through numerous posts today on tyre choices and seem to have noted that Pirelli P6000's aren't up to much and Goodyear F1 Eagles are the ones to go for.

Well at the moment I may only need one tyre for the back of my T5. It had a pair of Pirelli P Zero's on but one is down to 2mm while the other still has 5mm. On checking my spare though, it's a nearly new P6000 !

So the question is ..... will the P6000 go with the P Zero ok; not sure about matching of tread patterns etc ?

Cheers,

Craig

Depends how tight for cash you are at the moment. I always replace tyres in pairs and would probably put some F1s on the front and move those that are currently on the front to the back.

Keep the pirelli asa spare as the 6000 is bi directional - means use both sides of the car other makes not always possible to use in opposite directions.
Eagle F1 are unidirectional but an excellent tyre
cheers

I have Goodyear F1`s on my car (and works car) and swear by them wouldnt use anything else, but the ones i have are directional with long deep tread they handle excellent in the dry and wet (dont use in snow though not so good)
