Pcv issue I think
I replaced the pcv system about 47000 miles ago
I've noticed oil dripping from the inlet tube were it clamps to the turbo The turbo is not that old I tested the pcv with the glove On tickover when warm the glove blows up a little but not much When I rev it it sucks in slightly then when I let off it blows up more than tickover and settles down to were it blows up a little bit but not much Is this normal or do I have a pcv issue or could it be the valve on the inlet tube I tend to do short journeys about 20 minutes each way to work and back and I change oil every 5000 miles |

It's a PCV issue.

Would it have gone faulty after 47000 miles

Not necessarily, but its certainly possible if you didn't use genuine parts or you didn't replace the flame/oil trap.
If you really want longevity out of it (though you should get double that ordinarily) then one of the users, I believe its CNGBiFuel or similar, has a post in the "Standard Faults/Killers" topic on this forum on 'upgrading' the PCV system.

They were genuine parts
I also replaced the oil separate canister at same time |

The PCV system is a bit unusual on these.
There is 2 ports in the front of the block on them. The top port isn't normally a problem but the lower is mainly to allow the oil trap to return oil to the sump, this one on the other hand can be prone to getting blocked, well worth checking this one is cleared. Lots of posts about this on here over the years. They also have small hole for the breather at the main intake hose where the breather pipe terminates that can be blocked as well. Seems to affect 850s more than v70s that I've come across The glove test over the cap is fine for the top end of the engine but it's also worth doing over the dipstick tube as well to check the bottom end of the engine.
