S40: - Service Due Alert

How much notice dose the service system alert give you before the service is due please?

Example: car is coming up to its 100k service mark, how much before will the service light come on please?

from memory it is something like 2000 miles before.

there are three things which bring it on since it was last reset ..
MIleage , 12500
Time 12 months
Engine hours 750

The service message will come up with " BOOK TIME FOR SERVICE " a month before it is due.
It will change then to "SERVICE DUE " when it is due .

And will say "SERVICE OVERDUE" a month after ..

Mine is not much over 97k. I know the AUX belt is at 100k if I remember correctly so wasn't sure if this was the service light for this or the yearly bodywork checks and cabin filter?

I didn't know that the "SERVICE DUE" was the trigger point, always thought it was the "BOOK TIME FOR SERVICE" was the trigger.
